Flowing boundaries

The boundaries between inside and outside are fluid: architecture brings nature inside in the form of materials and creates a connection to the outside world by means of generous window fronts. On a cloudy day, you can literally carry your head in the clouds when they pass by the windows.

Located at an altitude of 1200 metres, Chalet La Pedevilla overlooks the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The architecture skilfully combines tradition and modernity with great attention to detail. The materials used from the surrounding area, such as pine, loden cloth and dolomite rock, lend a unique and warm atmosphere to the residential and holiday home.

What is outside shapes
what is inside.
What is inside merges together
with the outside.
The room does not end
at the window sill.

Our furniture is another link to the outside world. On the one hand, through the natural raw material of solid wood and, on the other, through the wealth of experience in the typical local wood craftsmanship gained over centuries, this creates the identity of the cultural area of the foothills of the Alps. This knowledge, combined with state-of-the-art computer-driven processing technologies, enables us to produce sensual, outstandingly practical furniture. Their execution mirrors the colours of nature: light oak and dark American walnut, various fabrics in bright blue and red, subdued green as well as warm natural leather.
